Can you add a porch roof over my existing deck?

Often yes — after we verify the framing and footings can carry a roof plus snow. If reinforcement is needed, it’s in the same itemized estimate.

Will a covered porch make my house dark?

Not if it’s designed right. Roof depth, ceiling height, and skylights are balanced in the 3D design so the porch shades without dimming the rooms behind it.
